I have urgently needed and looked for this book for years since 2005 when I discovered the originals in Sigiriya. I read it in Sigiriya in August 2005. It is the best ever presentation of these Sigiri Graffiti, small Sinhalese poems inscribed on the Mirror Wall and commenting upon the Sigiri Ladies on the Sigiriya Rock. The book contains 650 odd poems in Old Sinhala, both Latin and traditional spelling, plus English translations, plus abundant linguistic notes, plus a long introduction on the language and the poetics of these 8th-10th centuries. The only shortcoming of Paranavitana's translations and presentations is that he neglects the Buddhist context, Buddhist content and Buddhist debate in the poems. As far as I know, a new reprint edition came out in Sri Lanka under the auspices of UNESCO, but where can we find it?
Yet there is one copy of the two volumes at the EFEO Paris-Maison de l'Asie library, 22 avenue Président Wilson, 75116 Paris. It is in perfect state and order. the personnel is friendly. You can make photocopies, though not free, I mean not for free.
